GCPH Initiates Best Practices eNewsletter for Healthcare Providers

The Communicable Disease Awareness program is a Greene County Public Health Department initiative that provides timely information to At-Risk Communities and Care Providers.  Each eNewsletter contains helpful links and Best Practice guidelines for the testing and treatment of Communicable Diseases in Greene County.

The first of these communications is on the subject of CHLAMYDIA: Best Practices for Testing & Treatment

The New York State Department of Health report on Chlamydia Infections in the School District Geographic Areas of New York State documents that 30,000 New York teens (age 15-19) are diagnosed with Chlamydia each year.
