Greene County Legislature Meetings During COVID-19 Response

Beginning June 18th, 2020 All Meetings of the Greene County Legislature and its committees will return to the County Office Building on the 4th Floor of 411 Main Street, Catskill.  Legislators and Staff will continue to maintain and follow social distancing protocols until otherwise directed.  The meetings are open to the public, however, masks must be worn and appropriate distancing practiced throughout the proceedings.

Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State and Federal bans on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 220.1 issued on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meetings Law:

The Greene County Legislature Committee Meetings (Health Services, County Resources, County Services, Public Works, Economic Development and Tourism, Gov. Ops. and Finance, Public Safety) and all regular monthly Legislature Meetings between March 12th & June 14th were held electronically via Zoom Meeting instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person.

Members of the public may view these meetings on the Greene County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0mwTvjUz_XyhJ83epMPFpQ/live

Minutes of the meetings have been transcribed and posted on the Greene County website.
