Mental Health

The Greene County Mental Health Center’s physical building has re-opened for visits by appointment only.

Our staff continues to serve the community by providing services remotely via telemedicine and pre-scheduled in-person appointments

  • Most appointments will be handled through telemedicine and you will be contacted by your provider
  • If you do not have an appointment please call 518-622-9163 to request a new appointment through our Open Access Clinic
  • Medication refills will be handled through requests to our prescription refill line
  • Nursing staff will continue to provide medication injections by appointment only
  • If you have an on-premise appointment you will be called the day prior to answer a series of COVID screening questions

Psychotherapy, Medication Management, Care Coordination, Crisis Services, and the clinic’s Open Access Clinic continue to be provided remotely and on-premise by appointment only.

It is understandable that given the stress people are experiencing from this COVID-19 outbreak there may be an increased need for mental health services.

Before you go to the Hospital’s Emergency Room, please contact Greene County Mental Health.

We can either help address the concerns you have without going to the hospital and risking exposure for yourself and hospital staff, or we can help determine if your need is greater than we can handle and then direct you to the appropriate resources.
