Greene County Office Building To Close at 12 Noon Thursday, October 1 – Will Reopen Safely Monday October 5

The Greene County office building at 411 Main Street Catskill, NY is closing at noon today (October 1).

An individual within the Greene County Office Building has tested positive for Coronavirus.   While this individual is asymptomatic, the Greene County COVID-19 Protocols require this person to be placed in mandatory quarantine under the supervision of the Greene County Department of  Public Health.  All that were in contact with this individual are being tested and quarantined appropriately.

To protect public safety and health, all building occupants will be leaving today at 12 noon.  The entire building will be sanitized over the weekend and will re-open under safety protocols on Monday October 5th.

All Other Greene County Buildings and Operations will Remain Open

Anyone with in-person appointments at the county building Including the DMV will be rescheduled in the order in which they were made, beginning the week of October 5th.

All DMV APPOINTMENTS are canceled for the remainder of 10/01/2020 and for Friday 10/2/2020. persons with appontments will be called to reschedule.

If you are trying to look yourself up on the Absentee or Voter Registration Portal, please use the zip code for the Town you pay Town Taxes to ie: Leeds is within the Town of Catskill.
