Bars, Restaurants and Gyms in NYS Must Close at 10:00 PM Amid COVID Uptick

Bars, Restaurants and Gyms in NYS Must Close at 10:00 PM Amid COVID Uptick

Effective November 13th, all bars, restaurants, gyms as well as any State Liquor Authority-licensed establishments statewide will be required to close at 10pm.

A few things to note:

  • Restaurants and bars can continue curbside pickup (food only) after 10:00 PM
  • Gyms must also close at 10:00 PM
  • Gatherings at private residences are capped at 10 people or less.
  • This does not affect the 50% reduced capacity ruling.

The Governor took these actions amid a widespread increase in cases throughout the nation and an increase in New York, which was expected moving into the fall and winter seasons.
