Shout Out to Melissa Penate, Tourism for her support and help with the first annual Youth Health Fair that Public Health Children's Programs hosted on May 31, 2025. Melissa was extremely helpful in securing the venue, transporting attendees to the event, and answering all our questions immediately. She was a pleasure to work with!

Shout Out to Holly Weed for her hard work in completing a project that involved digitization of all training records in Human Resources. Thanks to Holly's dedication, we have completed this long standing project and are closer to our department's goal of going paperless!

Shout out to Public Health Youth Health Fair committee. Holly, Kelly, Laura, Kerry, Barbara, Christy, Moshi, Jillian J., Mina, Sandra, Jillian F., India, Jennifer & Chloe for an amazing job on our first annual event. you all were outstanding. Your teamwork, enthusiasm and dedication to this event was incredible. Despite the monsoon, everyone was positive and welcoming to our vendors and attendees. Without all of your help, it wouldn't have been as successful. We look forward to working with you annually on this event.

On behalf of the department and all the veteran community, we would like to recognize the dedication and hard work done by Vee Carl for this year's Ray Brooks Memorial Fishing Derby for the veterans in long-term care. Vee always goes above and beyond the call of duty and it shows in every single detail. She really made the day a wonderful experience for everyone there. The veteran community would be lost without her.
